Happy Canada Day to all Canadians.
I carved the keychain and pin for Canada Day.
The idea came from Woodcarving Illustrated Magazine, Summer 2011 Issue 55.

Niagara Woodcarvers 32nd Annual Show and Competition

My First Old World Santa

My first Old World Santa in the style of Mike Shipley. It is 2" x 2 1/4" x 7" Basswood painted with acrylics and antiqued.

                                     

Santa Holding Stocking

This is the second carving of Santa holding a stocking that I have done. It is 1 3/4" x 3" x 9" Basswood painted with acrylics and antiqued.

Santa Holding Quilt

This Santa from Basswood 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 5 1/2"  painted with acrylics. He is from a Ron Ransom book.
I am slowly finishing all the Santas that I have started on my bench.
