Santa Holding Stocking

This is the second carving of Santa holding a stocking that I have done. It is 1 3/4" x 3" x 9" Basswood painted with acrylics and antiqued.

Happy New Year

A belated Happy New Year to everyone. The following carving is from Woodcarving Illustrated Hand Carved Holiday Gifts Volume 2. It is called Candy Cane Santa Ornament and is By Dave Francis. It is located on Page 32 and has excellent instructions and photos. If you are a Santa and Snowman carver try to pick this one up you will not regret it.
