Happy New Year

A belated Happy New Year to everyone. The following carving is from Woodcarving Illustrated Hand Carved Holiday Gifts Volume 2. It is called Candy Cane Santa Ornament and is By Dave Francis. It is located on Page 32 and has excellent instructions and photos. If you are a Santa and Snowman carver try to pick this one up you will not regret it.

    I found you through the Woodcarving Illustrated Forum (which I joined last night.)

    I was surprised to see your "candy cane santa". It turns out that is the only carving I did from that issue, and my didn't turn out as nicely as yours. I'll keep trying. Thanks for the inspiration and I'll see you around the Forum!
